At Pure Lifestyle, we have seen the repetitive nature and the postural requirements that endurance sports demand. We have created strategies and progressions that are specifically designed to help the endurance athlete. These are necessary for performance and longevity as well as injury prevention.
What makes us unique is our education combined with our passion. Our strength coaches come with backgrounds in kinesiology, and many of them are Certified Exercise Physiologists (CEP), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS). We not only have the education to help our clients with the latest research and tools, we also have a passion for endurance sports.
Taking our education one step further, many of our strength coaches have completed a course in administering a Functional Movement Screen. It allows for the trainer and the client to find any asymmetries or imbalances that can overtime lead to discomfort, pain and repetitive injuries. This directly impacts the focus of strength training which can be key to training right and developing a strong foundation, one that can lead you to longevity in your sport.
