Diana Stevens Empower Run

Sep 16, 2013

Sunday’s turnout at Kildonan Park for the 10k 5k and walking events was unbelievable! Over 600 people showed up to take part, and Pure was honoured to be involved as well. A big part of the reason there were so many faces at the event was simply because of Diana. Tragically in May Diana lost her life while travelling to her daughter’s wedding in North Dakota. Along with being a large supporter of the running community in Manitoba, she was also the director of Athletics Manitoba. It was really an amazing site to see so many people!

All of the money raised by the event goes to the new Concordia fitness & Health center or to the Diana Stevens fund which aids kids and their Athletics programs in their respective schools throughout Manitoba.
